Not
content with running one the finest traditional horse shows in Britain,
the organisers of Royal Windsor Horse Show 13th 16th May
2004 have gone one better this year. An exciting series of teach-ins
have been introduced to give both competitors and spectators the
privilege of watching and learning with some of the countrys
top equestrian experts.
The
teach-ins will be held on a daily basis and include Jennie Loriston-Clarke
on showing, Tim Stockdale on show jumping and experts on carriage
driving. In addition, in celebration of The Pony Clubs 75th
birthday Sarah Verney (nee Cotton) will enlighten the crowd on many
aspects of this bastion of equestrian learning. The teach-ins are
free to those attending the show and will be held daily in the Datchet
ring see website for further details.
Visitors
to the show will also have the chance to enjoy the remarkable work
of legendary natural horseman Monty Roberts. The best-known name
in the world, when it comes to horse whispering, Monty
will be providing an enthralling demonstration of his magical way
with horses on each day of the show.
Show
Director Simon Brooks-Ward explains: Monty is back this year
by public demand. He was an extremely popular part of the show in
