Ian
Stark Supports Supa Dog Get Fit Challenge
TOP
event rider Ian Stark is supporting a nationwide initiative
to help get the nation and their pets fit and active.
The
initiative launched by Burgess Supafeeds, one of his longtime
sponsors, aims to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief
through sponsored dog walks.
Said
Ian: "We read in the national press every day that we
are a growing nation, growing in numbers, but also growing
in size and weight.
|
"The
Supa Dog Get Fit Challenge is a great way to encourage everyone
to take more exercise, go for a daily walk, with their dog, and
help them to get fit as well.
"The
team at Burgess Supa Dog recognise the health problems associated
with obesity and by simply getting more active by walking, we can
improve our fitness levels.
"We
are also aware that our lifestyles affect not only ourselves but
also our pets, with many dogs walked for less time each day.
