Molly Ashe and Subliem Win Again!

Wellington, FL – April 5 – The AGA National Jumper Championships held qualifying classes for Juniors and Amateurs today. Their final Championships will be held tomorrow and the 2002/2003 AGA Championship Series Final will be at 2:00 pm tomorrow.

Molly Ashe and Subliem won the $10,000 1.40m Speed Championship today, a faults converted to time class. This horse and rider combination also won the Take Your Own Line Class on Thursday. Subliem is a Belgian Warmblood mare owned by Ladson LLC of New York. Margie Engle was second riding Hidden Creek’s Alvaretto.

In the High Amateur Owner Jumper Qualifier, Tani Anderson won with her horse Illusion. Illusion is a Dutch Warmblood mare that had the only clear round in the jump off. Thirty horses entered and 5 returned for the jump off. The other 4 horses all had 4 faults in the jump off. Nathalie Sadovic and Chiquita were the fastest and placed second. Robert Kraut was third with Caviar.

Charlie Jayne was last to go in the jump off in the High Junior Jumper Qualifier and was the quickest there riding Jubulent. Out of a field of 26 horses, 7 had clean first rounds and made it to the jump off. Charlie and Jubulent were 2 seconds faster than Aimee Aron riding Kinloch Enterprises’ Cora Fina.
