LEXINGTON,
KY - Award-winning Thoroughbred photographer Barbara D. Livingston

of Racing at Heritage Booksellers, Louisville International Airport
on Sunday, May 2, from 2 to 4 P.M.
Old
Friends: Visits with My Favorite Thoroughbreds (Eclipse Press, 2003)
combines Livingston's vivid photography with poignant essays that
offer tribute to aging Thoroughbreds who once commanded center stage.

stirs the embers of their glory days.

racing fans will find breathtaking photographs of many of their
favorite horses and racing personalities, as well as images of the
most picturesque farms, training centers, and racecourses across
the country. Among the 253 photographs are classic images of Seattle
Slew, Cigar, Sunday Silence, Easy Goer, Silver Charm, and many more.
Livingston's
photographs are among the most recognizable in Thoroughbred racing.
