Equinox Resort and Spa Continues Support
of the Vermont Summer Festival as a 2004 Grand Prix Sponsor
East
Dorset, VTApril 20, 2004The Equinox Resort and Spa,
one of the premier properties in the Rock Resort portfolio, has
joined forces with the Vermont Summer Festival Horse Show in becoming
a Grand Prix Sponsor for the third consecutive year. The five week
long event will be held at the Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset,
VT, July 14 August 15, 2004.
The
Vermont Summer Festival exhibitors have been enjoying the fine staff
and services of the Equinox Hotel for years, but are now experiencing
the beautiful Gleneagles Golf Course and the new Avanyu Spa during
their free time, stated Dotty Ammerman, Vermont Summer Festival
Executive Director. While our competitors love the rural nature
of the Manchester area, they also look for luxury and first-rate
amenities in their accommodations.
It
is a priority at the Equinox to support community events that promote
business and tourism in the region, which makes this partnership
a natural, added Courtney Lowe, Sales and Marketing Director
of the Equinox Resort. We look forward to providing the horse
show clientele first class, personal service again this year and
are prepared to customize their stay with activities ranging from
our Off-Road Driving School to courses in Falconry.
The
Vermont Summer Festival is New Englands largest AA
rated hunter/jumper horse show circuit. This years event includes
five USET-recognized $35,000 Grand Prix and five $10,000 Mini Prix.
Each
of the five weeks will also feature a $10,000 Show Jumping Hall
Of Fame High Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper class, part of the Show
Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series which determines which
junior and amateur/owner riders will qualify to ride at the 2004
National Horse Show. There will also be Marshall & Sterling
and North American League (NAL) Child/Adult Classics and NAL Open
Speed classes.
