Intervet Supports CWG Equestrian
Burghley Sponsored Ride
If you've ever fancied following in the footsteps
of some of Burghley's famous winners - such as Mark Todd, Blyth Tait and Ginny
Elliott - now's your chance.
Intervet UK Ltd., formerly Hoechst Roussell Vet, is supporting this year's CWG
Equestrian Burghley Sponsored Ride on Sunday 3rd September 2000, under its
Panacur Equine Guard and Pyratape P brands.
The event, taking place on the last day of the Burghley Pedigree Horse Trials
at Burghley Park, aims to raise over £7,000 for the Mark Davies Injured
Riders Fund, The Bill Thomson Bursary Fund, The Riding for the Disabled
Association and Lincolnshire Air Ambulance Fund. To date, £15,000 has been
raised for charities from previous sponsored events and it is hoped that 300
riders will be taking part in this year' event.
Riders and driving combinations wishing to join in the fun can enjoy a
leisurely 17km morning ride, with optional hunter trial jumps, in the grounds
of Burghley and experience the thrills of riding part of the cross-country
fences on the course. The event is open to everyone aged 5 and upwards with
prizes being awarded to various categories of entries and Panacur Equine Guard
rosettes will be presented to all riders finishing the course.
To take part, riders must collect a minimum sponsorship of £15 towards the
appeal.
Closing date for entries is 30 August 2000 and no entries will be accepted on
the day. For further details and application forms contact any local CWG branch
or ring 01780 762543
