Press release October fun-ride A fun ride is to be held on Sunday, October 8 at Walford College, North Shropshire, in aid of the College Jubilee Appeal to raise £100,000 towards a new IT unit and library. To include many fences from the College’s impressive cross-country course, College Principal Ken Dann says: "I know many riders will appreciate the cross-country course, but we will also have alternatives for those who don’t want to take the fences. "The tremendous scenery and terrain surrounding us in North Shropshire will provide a superb opportunity to ride eight to ten miles in countryside which is not normally an option," added Mr Dann.
