Press Release An Exhibition of Sporting Art including a Private Collection of 18th Century Glass Pictures Robin Sanders and Sons are pleased to announce the opening of their new showrooms at 17 Market Street, Woodstock, Oxfordshire. Having operated successfully from smaller premises at 11 Market Street for some time selling high quality country furniture and English pottery, it has been decide to open the new premises in order to expand the business and to enable the owner Robin Sanders a well-earned rest. (The new offices will be run by David Gadsby formerly of Dreweatt Neate Auctioneers). Having suffered from Chronic diabetes for some time, Mr Sanders wants to devote a proportion of the business to raising money for the British Diabetic Association (from June to be called Diabetes UK), and it has been decided that the best way to do this is to present 10% of all revenues taken in the new premises to the BDA. To launch the new premises we have decided to hold a selling exhibition of sporting art, to include a collection of 18th and 19th century glass paintings of sporting and rural scenes. The dates have been set for the 28th to the 30th of July to coincide with the Game Fair, which is being held at that time at nearby Blenheim Palace. A private View in aid of Diabetes UK will be held between 6 and 8pm on the Thursday previous to this. The premises at 11 Market Street will be open on an appointment only basis, the new premises will be open Monday to Sunday 10:30 till 5pm.
