horse The Solution to an Itchy Problem

With over 40 neglected horses and ponies coming into the Norfolk Centre of the ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses) in one go the staff there have had an itchy problem on their hands.

Says Alistair Holder, Sales Manager of Day Son & Hewitt, "This year we have seen a huge problem with lice infestation in horses, so when we heard that the ILPH Recovery & Rehabilitation Centre in Norfolk had taken in so many neglect cases, all covered in lice, we knew that we could help.

"The 75 litres of Dermoline Insecticide shampoo we have donated will be enough to treat all 40 horses and ponies."

Says Roly Owers, Director of Fundraising and Communications "We are truly indebted to Day Son & Hewitt for their generous donation. Having so many animals into any one Centre at the same time is a huge drain on charity resources."
