Y of Yoakum becomes active in APHA activities

WORTH, Texas-The American Paint Horse Association (APHA) recently
welcomed Circle Y Saddles of Yoakum, a top-of-the-line saddle maker,
as an official corporate partner.
Circle Y of Yoakum was a sponsor of APHA's 2002 World Championship
Paint Horse Show, in which the company awarded saddles to winners
in several of the event's categories. Now, Circle Y of Yoakum has
increased its sponsorship to support the Association even more.
"All of APHA's focus and actions are geared toward expanding
the Association and highlighting the American Paint Horse,"
said Lynn Paris, senior vice president of sales and marketing for
Circle Y of Yoakum. "At Circle Y, we like to see that APHA
is an ever-growing association involved in promoting a variety of
disciplines. That promotion is reflective of our business because
we make saddles for all disciplines."
Among the programs that Circle Y will support are:
" APHA's World Championship Paint Horse Show-Circle Y gives
away award saddles during the World Show.
" Ride America®-Circle Y supports APHA's recreational riding
program by providing products for top achievers who log significant
hours on their Paint Horses.
" Trail rides-Circle Y recently became involved in this aspect
of APHA, and has made a commitment to expand it in the future.
" Year-End Awards-Circle Y provides saddles and gifts for those
who have achieved the highest level in their disciplines.
"Bringing a new partner on board such as Circle Y is a welcome
addition to our growing list of corporate support," said Jim
Kelley, executive secretary of APHA. "They've given us great
support at the World Show, and we look forward to working with them
on further endeavors."
In business for 42 years, Circle Y of Yoakum maintains several manufacturing
facilities in the Yoakum, Texas, area. The company produces thousands
of saddles each year for Western pleasure riders, park and trail
