ILPH Hall Farm at Snetterton will be opening its doors to the public once again this yearILPH Hall Farm at Snetterton will be opening its doors to the public once again this year to host the ILPH Annual Summer Show together with its annual Horse and Companion Dog shows.

Main events will start at 11.30 and this year will include a Western Riding Display, Tanya Larrigan and her Mini Marvel stallion, a Sheepdog demonstration and Dressage and Dog Heelwork to Music displays and much, much more.

Visitors on the day will be able to find out about the work of the ILPH by popping into the Welfare Village in the Visitor Centre or taking one of the guided farm tours to see the rescued horses and ponies. There will even be the chance to win £5,000 !

No need to bring lunch as light refreshments will be available all day at the Visitor Centre café as well as from the burger and ice-cream vans. Lots of retail therapy available in the ILPH gift shop, the many trade stands, or the secondhand tack, bric-a-brac and tombola stalls. Exhausted parents can relax while their younger children are kept occupied in the kiddies' corner in the Visitor Centre.

Elsewhere on the showground, as last year, there will be an opportunity for dogs, and their owners, to have some fun in the Companion Dog Show with classes, including novelty and showing, starting at 11 am. Canine entertainment will also include dog agility and flyball demonstrations. Entry for the Dog Show on the day from 10 am, schedules by sending an A5 sae to Sue Pidduck, ILPH, Anne Colvin House, Snetterton, Norwich, NR16 2LR.

The Horse Show this year has 76 affiliated and unaffiliated showing classes with 22 championships, in 8 rings. There are classes for everybody including, new for this year, Pure Bred Arabs and Working Hunter Cobs and Riding Horses, and Haflinger and Coloured horses as last year, plus lots, lots more including fun classes. The show is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) 2004 Summer Championships and the Marriage's Riding Club Pony of the Year. Schedules will be sent to all last year's competitors, those with ILPH horses on loan and will also be available in local tack shops, feed merchants, etc., or by sending a sae to Mel Edwards at the above address.

The secondhand tack stall will gratefully accept donated items of good quality tack, rugs, etc., before Friday 11th June as all leatherwork needs to be thoroughly inspected for safety reasons. All items or enquiries to Jane Austin on 0870 366 6934. Bric-a-brac and new or nearly new items suitable for the tombola stall all gratefully received by Gillian Larter on 0870 366 6927.
