Supporters make Charity Ride a Great Success
|
The ILPH (International League for the Protection of Horses) charity
ride through the Elveden Estate, Nr Thetford, Norfolk on Sunday
9 June, raised £1,454 thanks to the support of riders from
all over East Anglia.
118 riders, and several parents leading children's ponies, took
advantage of the chance to ride on grassy tracks and estate roads
through private countryside while raising money for the Norfolk
based charity at the same time.
Comments Roly Owers, Director of Support at the ILPH, "Thanks
to the generosity of the Earl and Countess of Iveagh for giving
us the unique opportunity of having the ride around their lovely
estate - coupled with the support of ILPH staff and all the parents
and riders, the ride was a great success."
