New
Broadcast Dates Announced For Badminton Horse Trials Special
SportsQuest
International has announced a revised broadcast schedule for the
television documentary, "Behind the Scenes at Badminton: Eventings
Supreme Challenge". The program was previously scheduled for
broadcast on Sunday, June 23.
The
"With Equestrian Tact..." special will air nationally
in the United States as a HorseTV presentation on the America One
Television network.
Broadcast
times are as follows:
·
Sunday, July 14, 6:00 p.m. Eastern / 3:00 p.m. Pacific
·
Wednesday, July 17, 11:00 p.m. Eastern / 8:00 p.m. Pacific
·
Friday, July 26, 3:00 p.m. Eastern / 12 Noon Pacific
The
one-hour documentary will provide a detailed behind-the-scenes
look at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials.
The
delay in the programs release was necessitated, says Senior
Producer Melvin Cox, by the production teams desire to incorporate
additional materials outlining the rich history of the Badminton
event. These elements include photos of past Badminton champions,
including John Shedden, winner of the first event in 1949. Also
to be included are comments from His Grace, The 11th Duke of Beaufort,
host of the Badminton Horse Trials. "This is going to be an
outstanding hour of television", says Cox.
Produced
by SportsQuest International, the program will examine the many
factors that define the Badminton Horse Trials as the worlds
premier Three-Day Event. Katrina Barclay hosts the presentation.
