Equestrian Approves 2003 Competition Date Applications

Equestrian announced today that the 2003 date renewal applications
for December 2002 through November 2003 have been reviewed and
the approval letters have been mailed to the competition contacts.
We believe this to be the fastest turn-around time on date renewal
applications in the history of the Federation. Competitions Department
staff will now begin the process of reviewing applications from
competition managements that have requested changes of date, location
and/or rating for the 2003 competition year, along with applications
for new 2003 competitions The 2003 approved competition dates
are currently available on our website at www.equestrian.org
under Competitions.

U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
