Equestrian Meeting Agenda Available On Web

The
USA Equestrian Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, July 9th,
2002, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky. Materials
that have been prepared for the meeting are currently available
on the USA Equestrian web site at http://www.equestrian.org/webcasts/7-9-2002/.
Among the documents available are the agenda for the meeting,
proposed constitutional amendments and proposed extraordinary
rule changes. Additional documents will be published as soon as
they are provided to directors.
The
meeting will begin at 12:00 Noon (EDT) and will be available via
live Internet audio web cast by visiting the USA Equestrian web
site at www.equestrian.org
and clicking on the link.
USA
Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the
U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation
has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions
nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including
educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates
who officiate at these shows.
