BETA
is delighted to welcome Jane Holderness-Roddam as the association's
new president.
Jane
is to take over the role following the AGM in London in November.
Well known throughout the equine world for her extensive work
on a wide variety of committees, Jane is also a keen Show
Hunter, Hack and Riding Horse judge and breeder.
Jane
takes over from Sir Adam Butler who has been the President
since 1991.
"I
am very much looking forward to taking over as BETA President.
I believe the trade is highly important and can be very influential
in supporting the horse world," said Jane.
Said
Sir Adam: "I have been delighted to give what help and
encouragement I could over the last 12 years or so.
"BETA
has continued to grow in strength and to demonstrate its value
to the industry.
"I wish BETA much success in the future under Jane Holderness-Roddam's
very experienced and enthusiastic eye."
Claire
Williams, BETA Chief Executive and Secretary said: "We
are very much looking forward to having Jane on board as the
new president.
"We
are sure her wealth of knowledge will be very well received
and will help to keep the association moving forward and developing."
She
added: " Our current president Sir Adam Butler has been
a very valuable asset to the association and we are delighted
he has been involved for so long."
