EFI Statement On Implementation Group, Horse Sport Ireland

FOLLOWING A UNANIMOUS decision at the May meeting of the Executive of the Equestrian Federation of Ireland, and endorsed again at the subsequent executive meeting on June 9, It was decided, with regret, that until the matter of the independence of the proposed chair of the implementation group could be satisfactorily resolved, the EFI would continue with its own programme of modernisation, while hope was expressed that the implementation group for Horse Sport Ireland would proceed as soon as possible,

The EFI has advised the relevant officials in the Department of Sport accordingly.

The EFI modernisation programme includes structural, marketing, insurance and sponsorship initiatives on behalf of its affiliate bodies.
