PERRY WINS INAUGURAL AHSA ADULT AMATEUR SADDLE
SEAT MEDAL
USA Equestrian announced today the results of the
inaugural Adult Amateur Saddle Seat Medal that was held at the Lexington Junior
League Show, Lexington, KY, July 13th, 2001.

The judges were Lisa Cunningham Waller from Heiskell, TN, Dick Boettcher,
Woodinville, WA and Steve Crabtree, Elizabethtown, KY
USA Equestrian Board Directors, Alan F. Balch, Mary Anne Cronan and Judith
F.Werner, presented the winner with a cast resin sculpture, created by Patricia
Crane and donated by Lillian Shively and Lisa Jensen Richardson. In addition,
the winner received a silver plate donated by Lexington Junior League, a Triple
Crown Custom championship cooler, championship ribbon, red roses and a leather
halter donated by State Line Tack.
U.S. Equestrian Inc., as the National
Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and
World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining,
show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of
equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the
Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions
nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including
educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who
officiate at
these shows.
