DRESSAGE IRELAND

BRADLEY OUT OF EUROPEAN DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Senior Irish international rider Katy Bradley confirmed today (25/07/2001) that she has withdrawn from the European Dressage Championships ( Verden, Germany - 8th to 12th August 2001) due to an injury to her Grand Prix horse Damiant II.

Bradley is a former Irish dressage champion and she was a member of the Irish team at the last European championships in Arnhem two years ago. Katy hopes that Damiant II will recover in time to permit her to compete at Hickstead next month.

Her withdrawal means that Ireland's sole representative at this years European Championships will be Anna Merveldt-Steffens and Darius 213.
