IRELAND WINS SWEDISH NATIONS CUP

With two superb double clear rounds from Cian O'Connor and Lt. David O'Brien, Ireland today (July 13) won the Swedish Nations Cup at Falsterbo, beating favourites Germany into Second Place on time. Capt. Gerry Flynn was clear in the first round, and did not need to jump again to secure Ireland's victory.

This is a double for Chef d'Equipe Lt. Col. Gerry Mullins, who was also Chef at Falsterbo last year when Ireland took the Nations Cup.

In Lummen, Belgium, meanwhile, the Irish team was leading after the first round of the Nations Cup, with Japan in Second. The second round takes place later this afternoon.
