Does About Turn On Four-Year-Old Jumping Championship
Hickstead
has reinstated its popular British four-year-old jumping championship
on to the Hickstead Derby Meeting (August 22-25) schedule.
The
class, run at the show for nearly 30 years but originally dropped
this year after a rule change by the British Show Jumping Association,
has been restored, says how secretary Lizzie Bunn, "by popular
demand."
"It
does not appear on our printed schedule, so we need to hear about
entries as soon as possible," she said.
The
class will be run under unaffiliated rules in the Baileys Horse
Feeds Ring (ring three) on Thursday, August 22 with the best ten
horses going through to the Championship in the International Arena
on the Friday. Equestrian Elite is to sponsor both classes.
Entries
can be made by calling the Hickstead office on 01273 834315.
