The
2003 Young Rider Championships were hosted in the beautiful
city of Le Touquet, France from 3 - 6 July 2003.
The
Team competition was held on Friday with a total of 13 teams
forward. The German team were outstanding throughout the whole
competition finishing in the Gold Medal position on a score
of 1 fault with Nederlands in Silver Medal position on a total
score of 15 faults. Norway finished in Bronze position on a
total of 18 faults.
The
British team finished in 6th position on a total of 27 faults.

Individual Championship took place on Sunday, 6th July with
the top 30 riders participating for the Individual medals. Three
British riders had qualified to participate in the Individual
Championship, Matthew Broome, Robert Whitaker and Ben Maher.
