An
Evening with Mary King
|
The
challenge of a lifetime is leading a young Gloucestershire woman
into a frenzy of fundraising.
Verity
Jarvis, 23, of Newent, Glos, is determined to raise enough money
to allow her to go to Patagonia, Argentina on an ILPH (International
League for the Protection of Horses) Challenge Ride in November
this year.
Comments
Verity, "I've been riding since I was 10 and have taken my
horse up to Intermediate level in eventing, but I felt that I would
like to do something else with horses that was exciting.
"The
ILPH is my favourite charity so it's wonderful to be able to go
on exciting horse holiday with lots of like minded people - and
having the challenge of raising the money in order to do so is,
extremely stimulating, if a little unnerving !"
Verity
is organising an Evening with Mary King at Hartpury College on Friday
July 25th when Mary will be working several of her highly successful
event horses and answering questions.
There
will be refreshments and a raffle and tickets are £18 each,
£15 each for bookings over 10, or £22 on the door.
For
tickets or more information ask for Verity, Mandy or Karen at the
Gloucester branch of Countrywide Stores or phone Verity in the evening
on 07813041246 or Sue during the day on 01985 846160.
Further
ahead Verity is planning a course walk at Burghley in September,
again with Mary King.
