Varsity Equestrian Championships To Air On College Sports TV

The second Varsity Equestrian Championships, held April 18 at Texas A & M University’s Dick Freeman Arena in College Station Texas, will air on the College Sports TV (CSTV), July 3, at 8 pm (ET) and August 1, at 11 pm (ET).

Teams from several conferences battled for the Hunt Seat Team Championship, the Western Team Championship and the Overall Team Championship. This program, presented by the American Quarter Horse Association, will include clips from the Hunt Seat and Western competitions as well as interviews with riders and coaches from various attending schools.

Equestrian is a NCAA emerging sport by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and is offered at 13 Division I and six Division II colleges from coast to coast.
