I've loved horses since before I can remember. As soon as I could
read, I devoured every horse book I could find. I'm now married
with two children, and haven't outgrown either my love for horses
or books--especially books about horses. When I discovered Usborne
Books, the first thing I did was check out what was available in
my favorite subject. I was delighted to find that the clever people

subject! Here are some of my favorite Usborne horse books.
Dictionary
of Horses and Ponies is an essential and comprehensive guide to
all aspects of horses and ponies. It is of immense value to beginners
and experienced riders alike. Includes fascinating information on
the evolution of horses, their anatomy and body language, different
breeds and the various kinds of riding, competitions and uses to
which horses are put. Contains a wealth of practical, reliable advice
and superb full-color photographs and illustrations.
Grooming
& Stable Management is a guide to help manage the day-to-day
care of horses and ponies, whether they live out at grass or in
a stable. This book offers lots of advice to keep them well-behaved,
healthy and happy.
Also
available is a Horses and Ponies Kid Kit. Learn about different
horse breeds in this informative kit. The rubber stamps provided
can be used to decorate school papers and make greeting cards.
Includes: Stallion, Show Jumper and Mare with Foal stamps with hand-cut
