Awards Amanda Warrington Fund Grants To Jessica Moore
and Kristin Schmolze

GLADSTONE, NEW JERSEYJune 30, 2003The United States
Equestrian Team (USET) has awarded Amanda Warrington Fund Grants
to Jessica Moore of Aiken, SC and Kristin Schmolze of Montville,
NJ.
The Grants are made available to Eventing riders who participate
in the USET Eventing Developing Rider program. Grants come from
a fund established by the family of the late Eventing rider Amanda
Warrington.
Moore
and Schmolze were chosen by a three-member panel consisting of
Peter Green, Chairman of the USET Eventing Selectors; David OConnor,
USET Developing Rider Coach; and Dan Warrington, representing
the Warrington family. Each rider will receive a grant of $5,000
to help offset training expenses. The grant recipients also receive
a certificate presented by USET Eventing Selector Ann Getchell
at the Groton House Horse Trials in Hamilton, MA on June 29.
The United States Equestrian Team is a non-profit organization
that selects, trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest
possible standard to represent our country in major international
competition, including the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
To accomplish this, the USET seeks out and nurtures the development
of talented athletes - riders, drivers and horses - and provides
the support and guidance they need to help them attain their fullest
