horse BHS PRODUCES NEW GUIDES

The British Horse Society has produced two new guides.

Horse Care & Welfare
British Horse Society 24pp £2.50 welfare donation

This essential guide had been produced by the BHS in conjunction with The Home of Rest for Horses. It outlines the recommendations for basic horse care to ensure the welfare of horses and ponies.

Owning or caring for a horse or pony can be a very enjoyable and rewarding pastime but carries with it a lot of responsibility, hard work and financial expenditure. This guide covers topics such as good husbandry, requirements for horses and ponies when stabled and at grass, general health care, feeding, and other essential considerations. It is produced in an easy to follow format, with black and white illustrations.
