The Equestrian Federation of Ireland has appointed Alison Corbally, B.Ed., M.Eq.S., as its full-time Coaching Development Manager.

Alison, who will be working with the EFI's Coaching Committee, will be responsible for the further development of the National Coach Education programme in Ireland.

A native of Dublin, Alison took a Bachelor of Education Degree at Trinity College, and then completed a Masters in Equine Studies at UCD, remaining there for a further three years to co-ordinate the Equine programmes and lecture to Equine, Agriculture and Veterinary Students.

She has just concluded a three-year contract with the pioneering breeding company, Irish Sport Horse Development, as the company¹s Executive Director.

In addition, Alison has worked extensively for the Irish Horse Board, attending many international events to promote Irish horses, and contributes regularly to equestrian publications with particular emphasis on breeding and performance issues.
