BLOOD-HORSE UNVEILS MANEMEDIA LEXINGTON, KY-- The Blood-Horse, Inc. today announced the unveiling of ManeMedia, the company's web development and hosting division. "ManeMedia captures the scope of clientele now served by our new media division," said Chuck Manson, Vice President of Technology for The Blood-Horse. "Our new media division was launched in 1995 and operated under our corporate name for many years. Given the rapid growth of this division, it was felt that the industry would be better served through its own unique, but totally equine, brand." ManeMedia offers full-scale web solutions for equine businesses including web design, hosting, application design and programming, email and marketing solutions, and e-commerce and business-to-business solutions. ManeMedia's client base boasts bloodhorse.com and The HayNet (http://www.haynet.net), which were recently named by Forbes magazine as two of the top sites on the web. Other clients served by ManeMedia include the American Association of Equine Practioners, Bayer Animal Health, Coolmore, Dogwood Stable, Lane's End and the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association. ManeMedia will be headed up by Paul Stamps. Stamps recently served as creative director for MaxWeb, Inc. in Lexington before joining The Blood-Horse in 2000. Karen Pautz will serve as ManeMedia's Design Director. Pautz, founder of The HayNet and the former Free Rein Internet Publishing group, joined The Blood-Horse in 1997. ManeMedia's "webfolio" appears at http://www.manemedia.com. |
