USA EQUESTRIAN ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF WORLD'S
CHAMPIONSHIPS
USA Equestrian (formerly AHSA) announced today the
results of the Five Gaited, Three Gaited and Fine Harness titles at the 2001
World's Championship Horse Show, which took place during the Kentucky State
Fair, Louisville, KY, August 19-25, 2001.
For the second consecutive year Dena Tanner Lopez piloted Wild Eyed and Wicked
to the top to claim the title of World's Grand Champion Five Gaited Horse while
Anne and Sam Safford's recent acquisition of Yes It's True paid off as Sam rode
the gelding to victory in the Three Gaited Grand Championship. Callaway's
Copyright, the 2000 Junior Fine Harness Champion, moved into the open division
to claim the Fine Harness Grand Championship title in 2001 with driver/trainer
John T. Jones.

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of
