Connors Narrows Gap For Leadership Of Grand Prix Placings

Though Clem McMahon stole the show with his second win in a row of the weekend, it was two placings at the Limerick Grand Prix meeting today that
gained Francis Connors some valuable points in his battle to catch Conor Swail at the top of the Kerrygold Grand Prix League.

McMahon took the competition with <Dark Flight>, the Kathleen McDermott-owned horse that Clem had also rode to victory at North Wexford yesterday (Saturday).

But Connors today took Second with <Cruiseway> and <Who's Business As Usual>, which, added to his two Top Six placings on Saturday at North Wexford, moves him up to 84 points against what were formerly regarded as Swail's unassailable 105 points in the Kerrygold League.
