Lauren
Hogan, a ten year old from Tampa, Florida, rode her own small
pony, Miss Australia, to win the 2002 Wild Horsefeathers/USA National
Green Hunter Pony Championship held August 6, 2002. The championship
was held as part of the USA Pony Finals being held August 6-9,
2002, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. As Champion,
Lauren received a Beval saddle, donated by Berk Lee and The Tack
Box of Middleburg, Virginia.
Exhibitors
went head-to-head in competition competing in an over fences class,
a model class and an under saddle class, competing against riders
from across the nation to vie for top honors. Competitors qualified
