riders to the team as well as two alternates.

Equestrian
Margie Goldstein Engle of Wellington, FL, on Hidden Creeks

were selected based on their performances during the six selection
trials held in California in July to choose the team that will
compete at the World Equestrian Games in Jerez, Spain in September.
The riders named to represent the U.S. at CSIO Spruce Meadows
placed just behind those named to the squad to represent the U.S.
at the World Equestrian Games in the selection trials. Fifth place
finisher, Beezie Madden of Cazenovia, NY, on Judgement, owned
by Iron Spring Farm, elected to hold the alternate position on
the team traveling to the World Equestrian Games team rather than
accept a place on the CSIO Spruce Meadows squad.
