States Equestrian Team Announces U.S. Team for Spruce

New JerseyAugust 27, 2003The United States Equestrian
Team (USET) has announced the U.S. team that will compete at the
Spruce Meadows CSIO, September 3-7, in Calgary, Canada.
The
four riders named to ride are Margie Goldstein Engle of Wellington,
FL on Hidden Creeks Perin owned by Hidden Creek Farm; Laura
Kraut of Oconomowoc, WI, on Anthem, owned by The Summit Syndicate;
Beezie Madden of Cazenovia, NY, on Conquest II, owned by Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Patton; and Chris Kappler, of Pittstown, NJ, on Royal
Kaliber, owned by Kappler and Kathy Kamine.
Engle,
Kappler and Madden along with Lauren Hough of Wellington, FL,
just won the team Gold Medal at the 2003 Pan American Games in
Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic. Individually, Kappler won
the Silver Medal and Engle won Bronze!
The United States Equestrian Team is a non-profit organization
that selects, trains, equips and finances equestrians of the highest
possible standard to represent our country in major international
competition, including the Olympic Games and the World Championships.
