SADDLE SQUAD COULD TAKE HOME OWN
PRIZE The winner of the two day 100 mile
race ride class at the EHPS Red Dragon endurance Ride at The Royal Welsh
Showground (29 September - 1 October 2000) will take home a Free n
Easy saddle.
Explains Les Spark of Free n Easy:
We look like having a strong hand of entries from Free n Easy
endurance riders so it certainly isnt out of the question that the winner
may claim their second saddle.
Likely runners on our own team of 100 and
75 milers for the Red Dragon team challenge include: 13 year old Caroline
Atkinson (West Yorkshire) with her Welsh pony, Mageef Cariad; Lesley
Dunn (Monmouthshire) with Franzara; Liz Cooper (Ceredigion) with Song
of Fire; Heather Evans (Herefordshire) with her in-form 23 year old
Royal Mikado and Karen Greenwood (Co Durham) with her 8 year old
trotter, North Island Bill, fresh from winning the 50 mile Cumbria
Challenge, ends Les.
The companys revolutionary flat panel
construction has produced the only saddle in the world which is fully
adjustable across the width and length of the horses back - as well as in
the location of the stirrup bar - to ensure maximum freedom of action for the
horse and to encourage a natural, correct and balanced position for the rider.
Riders this season achieving the ultimate 100 miles in a day with the help of
the saddles include Oxfordshires Lesley Caswell and Liz Cooper. Following
these and many other successes in endurance, Free n Easy saddles
are now also available in GP and dressage designs.
This will be the second year that a Free
n Easy saddle has gone to the winner of this top class at The Red
Dragon. Last years winner was Delwyn Hall with Rough Close Lady.
