- Ireland Lying Sixth Of 13 After Dressage Stage
After
two commendable performances by team members Sasha Harrison and
Trish Donegan at Jerez this afternoon (Friday) the Irish Eventing
team were lying
in Sixth place after the dressage stage of the competition.
The
cross-country element, at which Ireland usually excels, follows
tomorrow (Saturday), with the show jumping element on Sunday. With
such a good dressage start, Ireland could therefore be in medal
contention by the end of the week. Thirteen teams are competing
in Three Day Eventing at WEG.
