Drivers Place Eighth At World Pairs Driving Competition
|
The
U.S. Pairs Driving Team placed eighth at the World Pairs Driving
Competition in Haras de Jardy, France, September 18-21, with a
final score of 271.1. Twenty-three nations were represented in
either team or individual competition A total of 64 drivers
competed.
Lisa
Singer, of Chadds Ford, PA, placed 16th in the individual competition
with a score of 143.61, Larry Poulin placed 27th with a score
of 153.53 and Mike McLennan finished 43rd with a score of 169.36.
The
individual competition was won by Riny Rutjens of The Netherlands
with a final score of 129.42 and the team competition was won
by Hungary with a final score of 256.9.
