Equestrian Eventing Committee Proposes New CCI***
|
The
USA Equestrian Eventing Committee is recommending the addition
of a third CCI***, three-day event. It is proposed this event
be started in 2005 as a compliment to the existing FEI calendar.
All bids are welcome and will not be restricted to existing competitions.
If
you would like to host this competition, please submit a letter
of interest by October 17, 2003 to Torri Nahorniak. Once a letter
of interest is received, a bid packet will be sent and the final
bid must be returned to USA Equestrian by December 1, 2003.
USA
Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the
U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation
has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions
nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including
educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates
who officiate at these shows.
