The British Horse
Society has just published a new booklet: BHS GUIDE TO
CAREERS WITH HORSES. This useful 40 page booklet is essential reading
for
anyone thinking of a career with horses, as well as being an invaluable
resource for career advisors in schools and colleges, parents, training
yards, riding schools and training establishments.
The BHS Guide to Careers
with Horses has useful information on the BHS exams
system and the BHS Apprenticeship Scheme, and gives help on where to start
on a career as a riding instructor, groom, stud assistant, carriage driving
groom, racing yard worker, saddler, farrier, veterinary nurse, mounted
police officer, mounted army recruit, equestrian tourism worker and college
