Dallas, Texas - Matt Hutchings, Executive Vice President of America One Television announced today that the America One Television Network has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast Horse TV, one of the largest collections of Western and English equestrian related programming. According to Preston Bornman, Senior Vice President of Marketing, "The audience for Western and equestrian lifestyle enthusiasts is very large, passionate, national in scope, and underserved on television. There is in excess of $25 billion spent in this market by over 57 million adults who identify themselves with the western and equestrian lifestyle. As unique provider of this genre of programming, we believe America One is quickly becoming the preferred viewing destination of this vast audience". Horse TV appeals to everyone who is intrigued by any and all things equestrian. Shows range from sporting events such as polo, rodeo, cutting, roping, hunter/jumper and pleasure competitions; to documentaries; to instructional; to movies and specials. Horse TV is a part of America One's Western Lifestyle Block. This block will also include Americana Music Television and America One's " Western Theater" hosted by TV, radio, and film star Red Steagall. Additional programming includes classic Western TV shows and will soon have an exclusive Southwest cooking show. Beginning on November
1, 2001, America One's Horse TV programming will be airing on Monday,
Wednesday, Friday and Sunday nights from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time.
The programming is categorized in the following segments: Wide World of
Horses, Planet Horse, 'Round the Arena', In the Ring, Event Showcase and
