Evening Raises Cash for Horse Welfare
|
60 people enjoyed a splendid Italian evening at Pengethley Manor near
Ross on Wye recently to raise funds for the ILPH (International League
for the Protection of Horses).
Buddug Cass, one of the ILPH volunteers at their Hereford Centre,
Glenda Spooner Farm, near Hoarwithy, organised an Italian wine tasting,
led by local wine expert Jon Hurley.
Jon tested everyone's knowledge of wine with a blind tasting and introduced
them to some very interesting wines. When the tasting was over everyone
tucked into a
delicious Italian themed supper.
The evening raised over £600 for the ILPH and thanks are due
to everyone who supported the event.
