Equestrian Website Aids Horse Welfare
|
Thanks to the generosity of an Equestrian website the ILPH (International
League for the Protection of Horses), should be quids in.
HorseIT.com from near Woodbridge, Suffolk has massively enhanced
the search facility of its successful online equestrian directory,
launched in 1999, and has called it www.Equibusiness.com
Redesigned to provide a quick and efficient service Equibusiness
is simple and easy to use. It has over 10,000 equestrian businesses
listed from livery yards, instructors, training yards, vets, horse
dentists, farriers to big feed firms.
Looking to hire a tail coat, find an arena supplier, or commission
an equestrian artist or indeed any other equestrian supplier or
item ? Then look no further than
www.Equibusiness.com
Says Jane Skepper, Managing Director at HorseIT, "After being
lucky enough to get an invitation to the ILPH Seminar last year
we were so struck by their work that we decided to talk with them
about how we could help.
"With the development of Equibusiness, HorseIT wanted to be
able to use the internet to put something back into the well being
of horses."
As a result, all listings now have an annual subscription fee, as
little as £24/year for a basic listing, £1.00 of which
is being donated to the ILPH for every listing.
Comments Roly Owers Director of Support at the ILPH, "We are
extremely grateful to HorseIT for making this very generous offer
to support us in the work that we do towards improving the welfare
of equines worldwide.
"HorseIT has a very well established website and I am sure
the development of their Equibusiness will further enhance the service
that they offer as well as filling a gap in the existing market.
We wish them every success in this new venture."
Equibusiness.com is being officially launched at The British Equine
Event, at Stoneleigh, Warks, on 2/3rd November 2002. All businesses
and services looking to
register prior to that are able to register online at http://www.equibusiness.com
or by calling 01394 450850 or coming to visit stand no.144.
