First
Kingston Baby Arrives
Kingston, National USET Champion and former USDF Horse of the
Year, has his first baby on the ground. The colt called King's
Cross bears a striking resemblance to his father. "It's
absolutely amazing; the colt looks like a miniature Kingston,"
said Leslie Morse, Kingston's rider and trainer. "I've
never seen a stallion stamp his get in this way."
|
The foal has Kingston's upright neck, long legs, and short back, making
him a perfect, tiny dressage horse. Kingston, by Voltaire, is an approved
Oldenburg and also recently approved by Rheinland-Pfalz Saar International.
The 17.2 hand stallion has competed successfully through the levels
with Ms. Morse. The pair is currently in England training with five-time
Olympian Kyra Kyrklund and has recently made their international grand
prix debut.
Kingston will return to the United States in time for breeding season.
Rocky Mountain Warmbloods will handle the breeding arrangements for
2003.
