And Blackwell Victorious At Mid-South Three-Day Event

Kriss, riding Mystical Illusion, claimed the Harry T. Peters Trophy
for the USA National Junior Eventing Championship, held at the
Mid-South Three-Day Event and Team Challenge in Lexington, Kentucky,
October 17-20. Because this championship was also designated a
USA Junior Olympic - Equestrian Event, medals were presented at
a special ceremony following the junior division. Ralph Holstein
riding Arctic Dancer won the Silver medal and Elizabeth Klein
riding One Look won the Bronze.

Blackwell, riding Harrison, claimed the Alexander Mackay-Smith
Trophy for the USA National Amateur Eventing Championship, also
held at the Mid-South Three-Day Event and Team Challenge. Championship

Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the

sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
