Takes Second At Oslo Accumulator
|
BRITAIN'S
Robert Smith robbed Ireland's Lt. David O'Brien of the top spot
at tonight's (Friday) Accumulator competition at Oslo, Norway.
Leading
most of the way through with a time of 43.94 seconds, O'Brien, riding
the nine yr-old Clover Hill mare <Lismore Clover>, watched
in dismay as the English rider, who was last man in, beat him with
a time of 43.94 on <Kalusha>.
However,
O'Brien finished in a respectable ninth place in today's World Cup
Qualifier, a class also won by Smith.
