Equestrian Now Accepting Applications For 2003 Media Awards

Equestrians 2003 Annual Media Awards are now open for nominations.
The deadline for nominations to be received in the Lexington office
is Friday, November 21.
A
panel of media experts will judge the awards on Friday, December
5, and the winners will be notified by December 12. The 2003 USA
Equestrian Awards for Media Excellence will be presented formally
on the evening of Friday, January 16, 2004, at the Pegasus Awards
Banquet, held as part of the U.S. Equestrian Meeting at the Millennium
Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, January 14 18, 2004.

Equestrian will succeed USA Equestrian as the National Governing
Body for equestrian sport in the United States upon its designation
by the United States Olympic Committee, or December 1, 2003, whichever
is later
