BETA Sponsor New Feed Forum At Horse and Country Fair

BETA is supporting the Horse and Country Fair at Sandown Park by sponsoring a new discussion session - The Feed Forum.

The organisers of the fair which runs on April 12 and 13 are working with BETA to bring together some of the leading figures and experts from the feed industry who will be on hand to discuss the latest developments and technological advances.

The forum will include presentations on topics relevant to feeding horses and ponies including how to understand legislation on feed packaging and how to better understand what ingredients are in the bag.

"We are delighted to be supporting the Feed Forum at the Horse and Country Fair," said BETA Chief Executive and Secretary Claire Williams.

"There are so many new developments concerning feed and supplements and we felt the forum would provide visitors to the event with the ideal opportunity to find out more about both new legislation and rulings.

"With so many feeds on the market, it is understandable if horse owners become confused on what is the best feeding regime for different types of animal, but the Feed Forum will give them the opportunity to ask questions and give them more direction."

Jill Button of event organisers Just Brilliant Events said: "The Feed Forum is a new aspect of the fair which we are sure will prove very popular. We are delighted to have BETA on board as sponsors."
