National Horse Show To Host Wellington Day
with
Taste of the Palm Beaches and Childrens Fair

FLNovember 6, 2002The 119th National Horse Show, November
26 December 1, at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club,
will host Wellington Day sponsored by Remax Realty
with a Taste of the Palm Beaches and a Childrens Fair on
Saturday, November 30.
All
general admission tickets for Wellington Day will include admission
to the Taste of the Palm Beaches featuring gourmet foods from
Palm Beach County restaurants. From 11:00 am 2:00 pm, all
in attendance will be able to sample fine cuisine from Waves Seafood,
Jakes Barbeque, Tommy Bahamas, Longhorn Steakhouse, Nicoles
Village Tavern, E.R. Bradleys, and Chef Larrys and Gwens
Radio Grill. The childrens fair will include rides and games
for all ages.
The
119th National Horse Show, formerly held at Madison Square Garden
in New York City, features top-level horse show jumping competitions
in three arenas plus a Dressage competition running throughout
the day. A special dressage freestyle exhibition, performed by
Friesian stallions, is scheduled for 12:00 noon.
The
Diamond Horse Shoe Patrons buffet luncheon provided by Nicoles
Tavern will feature a fashion show by the following: Adashi:
Suzie Rieley Custom Designs; Beyond the Barn; and Stalkmarket.
Tickets
for the 119th National Horse Show are $10 for adults and $7 for
seniors, Tuesday through Saturday. Sunday adult admission is $15.00
with seniors admitted for $7.00. Children 12 & under are admitted
free. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (561) 753-3389 or at
the gate. Parking is free on all days. The 119th National Horse
runs Tuesday, November 26 through Sunday, December 1 at the Palm
Beach Polo Equestrian Club on 14440 Pierson Road in Wellington,
FL.
