And McEvoy Victorious At Galway Downs

Crabo of Scottsdale, Arizona, riding Groovy (Thoroughbred: Pencil
Point x Round A Note, by Tell), won the Richard D. Collins Trophy
for the USA National One Star Eventing Championship, held at the
Jaguar Select Edition Three-Day Event and Horse Trials at Galway
Downs in Temecula, California, October 31 - November 3. Barbara
and Groovy maintained first place throughout the event, adding
only 2 time penalties to her dressage score to finish with a total
of 44.40.
India McEvoy of Santa Rosa, California, riding Seamus (Thoroughbred),
won the John. H. Fritz Trophy for the USA National Young Riders
Championship in the CCI**, also held at the Three-Day Event and
Horse Trials at Galway Downs. This event is recognized by the
United States Olympic Committee as a USA Junior Olympic - Equestrian
event.
