USA Equestrian Rule Book On Federation Web Site

The
2003 USA Equestrian Rule Book is available on the Federation web
site at www.equestrian.org. Please note that the 2003 Rule Book
is in effect for competitions with a start date on or after December
1, 2002. For competitions with a start date prior to December
1, 2002, please refer to the 2002 Rule Book, also available on
the web site.
The
printed 2003 USA Equestrian Rule Book began mailing November 1,
2002, to the Board of Directors, Committee Members, Licensed Officials,
Affiliated
Associations, Life Members, Platinum Members, Competition Management
and Competition Secretaries. Other members may request Rule Books
by returning
the slip accompanying membership cards, download an order form
from the Federation web site located under Downloads/Rules and
Regulations, or contact Marie Murphy by e-mail or telephone at
mmurphy@equestrian.org or (859) 225-6922.
USA
Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the
U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship
sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show
jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines
of equestrian competition. As
the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation
has over 80,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions
nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including
educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates
who officiate at these shows.
